Shipping Information
Our shipping policy is designed to ensure that the chocolates you order arrive at their destination in the best possible condition. We use insulated packages and frozen gel packs during warm weather to prevent the chocolates from melting.

Shipping Schedule
We ship packages Tuesday through Thursday. We do not ship packages over the weekend. Shipments that will not arrive by Friday will be held for shipment until the following week. Orders placed by 5pm are generally shipped on the next available shipping day after being placed. However, orders may take longer than one day to process and ship. We may also delay shipments due to extremely hot weather.

Shipping Guidelines
Please Note: If you choose a shipping option that does not comply with the guidelines below, we will contact you by email to change your shipping choice, and we will not process your order until you have approved the shipping change, including any additional shipping costs.

  • UPS Ground is available year round to local Northern California addresses that will arrive by the next day.
  • During warm weather we only ship UPS Next Day Air to addresses outside of Northern California.
  • During cool weather we can ship UPS Ground to most of the West Coast and UPS 3 Day Select to addresses in other parts of the country. UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air are also available.

We ship all packages Signature Required which means that someone must be available to sign for the package at the time of delivery. If someone is not available to sign for the package, the package may be held by the shipping company for delivery the next day. It is always best to ship to a workplace or office where someone will be available to sign. If you must ship to a residential address, it is recommended that you let the recipient know so that they will be available to sign.

All orders require a street address and phone number. We are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes or outside the United States.

We realize that shipping chocolate can require a lot of packaging, especially during warm weather. We do our best to use recyclable and earth-friendly materials when shipping our products. We use cornstarch peanuts and insulated sleeves instead of Styrofoam products. We also try our best to source packaging materials (including product packaging) made in the United States.

Disclaimer
We are not responsible for errors on the part of the shipping company. We are note responsible for damage to the shipment, including melting, once the delivery company takes possession of the packages. We are note responsible for incorrect or undeliverable addresses and/or recipients. We are note responsible for delays caused by weather, mechanical failure or other acts beyond our control. We will not pay for re-shipping costs due to any of the instances mentioned above.
